Building Information Modeling (BIM)

PERI provides a range of BIM services to benefit all aspects of formwork and scaffold design.

Our BIM capability maximises the return on resources, such as labour and material assets, both before the projects begin on-site and throughout the project's lifecycle.

Through coordinated 3D models, clash detection, data embedment and a wide range of visualisation approaches, we are able to offer our customers solutions suited to their specific project requirements. We can support customers from the tender stage, right through to material on the ground, and anything in between.

Have a project with detailed BIM requirements? Our digital team can ensure that our customers receive the data-rich BIM models they require, with digital support throughout the design process.

PERI Component Libraries in BIM Software

BIM software users have been able to make use of PERI’s extensive component libraries since as far back as 2016. You can also find PERI components in software such as Tekla Warehouse from Trimble and in Library+ for REVIT.

The PERI data packages with the component libraries include the full article catalogue for many PERI wall, slab and column formwork systems, as well as for scaffolding components together with their accessories. All of the components are provided with the relevant meta data and, in terms of building information modelling, can be used repeatedly during the construction process.

This provides the planner with the transparency needed to deploy the components in a highly efficient manner: from the planning phase right through to logistical matters and actual deployment on the construction site and even materials maintenance and storage – simply put, throughout the entire value creation chain.

BIM in action

  • From the drawing board to BIM: the BIM process has changed the working methods of all project participants and leads to a closely networked cooperation.
    Improving the construction process

through 3D visualisations and animated process simulations before starting the project

  • In comprehensive databases, a construction diary can be set up, among other things, whereby all parties can track and document the planning process.
    Efficient execution of construction

work and cost transparency through optimized work preparation and the integration of additional process data

  • Current construction information management systems provide constant access to up-to-date project figures in real time; this accelerates the coordination in the construction process.
    Coordinated processes

resolved uniformly - from the CAD design and all change processes through to putting into operation
